Emergency shelter

£200.00
(approx €294.02)

The Indian village of Chinnamedu in Tamil Nadu was devastated by the 2004 tsunami: 70 homes were washed away and six people lost their lives. To replace the village, Christian Aid partner Social Need, Human and Education Awareness (Sneha) constructed temporary houses made from thatched palm leaves, which were much cooler than the traditional corrugated variety. With a gift like this, you could help people rebuild their lives or prepare for future emergencies.

Free ring tone with each gift

With every Present Aid gift you will receive a free ring tone. Terms and conditions for the ring tone offer can be found here.
